The summit is right there!
At the saddle between the two peaks.
Here is the latter bunch of the pictures taken during the hike on Table Top Mountain.
Table Top Mountain has two peaks, and the both peaks are flat and its saddle is also pretty wide and flat. We saw quite a few leaves and flowers after blooming of Dryas octopetala (Eightpetal Mountain Avens, or Mountain Avens).
We headed to the higher summit of the two, and the 360-degree view from there was magnificent! We had lunch and enjoyed the moments feeling the refreshing breeze.
The view of the other summit from the saddle.
Looking at the direction which we came from.
We could see our cars far away.
Arnica lessingii (Nodding Arnica).
They are nodding from the start to the end of blooming.
Saxifraga bronchialis ssp. funstonii (Spotted Saxifrage,
Yellow-dot Saxifrage, or Funston's Saxifrage).
Saxifraga bronchialis ssp. funstonii (Spotted Saxifrage,
Yellow-dot Saxifrage, or Funston's Saxifrage).
The spots are all lemon yellow.
Compare with the flowers of Saxifraga tricuspidata.

They grow on the rocky slope right by the summit.

The view of the summit...
It is really a wide and flat summit.
The view of the saddle and the other peak from the summit.
There was nothing blocking our sight!
Changing clouds were interesting.
Marmota caligata (Hoary Marmot).

Amazing design, color and pattern of the flower!
Rubus chamaemorus (Cloudberry).
Creamer's Field
Rubus chamaemorus (Cloudberry).
It wasn't ripe yet...I wonder how it tastes like...

Chamerion latifolium (Dwarf Fireweed).
One of my favorite flowers.
