Mt. Sumon on the way down from Mt. Ootake.
Here are the pictures taken on the way from Mt. Ootake to Mt. Sumon's highest peak (Mt. Hakamadake, 1537.2 m), and then down to the Ooshirakawa course.
守門岳の画像、第２弾。
大岳から青雲岳を経て、守門岳ピーク（袴岳）に１２時ごろ到着。お昼ごはんを食べた後、大白川コースを下山しました。太陽がジリジリ照り返す中、すっかり日焼けしてしまいました。
Lilium rubellum (Hime Sayuri, or Otome Yuri).
We found this kind of pink lily a lot all the way from the top of Mt. Ootake down to the bottom of a col.
ヒメサユリは、大岳から鞍部までに群生。
Hemerocallis dumortieri var. esculenta (Nikkou Kisuge, Zenteika).
As we went down to the bottom of the col after Mt. Ootake, more and more these yellow daylilies were blooming.
大岳から鞍部に下るにつれて、主役はニッコウキスゲにバトンタッチ。
Clinopodium macranthum (Miyama Kurumabana).
ミヤマクルマバナも目立っていました。
Hemerocallis dumortieri var. esculenta (Nikkou Kisuge, Zenteika) and Cirsium borealinipponense (Oni Azami).
鞍部への下りでは、ニッコウキスゲとオニアザミが彩りを添えていました。

青雲岳からの眺め。眺望がよくて気持ちいい。
Pogonia japonica (Toki-sou).
たった１箇所にかたまって咲いていました。

Cirsium borealinipponense (Oni Azami).
Orchis fauriei (Onoe-ran).
We saw this kind of orchid for the first time.
They grew in the smaller area near Mt. Hakamadake, but most of them were already fading.
実は初めて見ました…オノエラン。袴岳直下の草陰に咲いていました。見ごろは過ぎていました。
「オノエ」って、尾根の上に咲くからなんですね…てっきり、尾上菊五郎的な人名由来だと思ってました。
Fragaria iinumae (Nougou Ichigo).
They were growing on the slippery ridge down from Mt. Hakamadake.
ノウゴウイチゴ…下りの尾根上に群生していました。
（ごめんなさい…思わず食べちゃいました。甘酸っぱかったです。）
Iris gracilipes (Hime Shaga).
We saw this for the first time too!
They were much smaller than the usual Iris japonica (Shaga) flowers.
こちらもお初のヒメシャガ…下りの尾根上でかなりたくさん咲いています。
通常のシャガよりも小さくて、色合いも濃くてきれいです。
Viola brevistipulata var. kishidai (Naeba Ki Sumire)?
We found quite a few of this kind of violet on the ridge. They looked pretty different from the usual Viola brevistipulata (Ooba Ki Sumire). The leaves were shiny.
大白川コースの尾根上で発見。普通のオオバキスミレとは様子が違います。
葉っぱがテカッてます。

The stem is read and has lots of tiny hair.
茎は赤くて、微毛が生えてます。やっぱりナエバキスミレなのかなぁ？

葉脈のところも凹んでいます。（ただそれほど葉っぱが厚い感じはしなかったんですね…）

The Edeshi ridge was really terrible! It was so steep!
Around 3:20 we got to the end of the course. Around 4:00 the inn owner came to pick us up.
このエデシ尾根…下るのに難儀しました。
ものすごく急で、ところどころロープがあって、それを頼りに何とか降りていきました。
この大白川コース、あまり利用する人は少ないのかも…
Ookumosawa Hyutte, the inn where we stayed.
The owner was kind enough to pick us up at Koide station in the morning and take us to the entrance of the course and came to pick us up to the inn in the afternoon with no more than 3000 yen! The supper and the breakfast were both great, too!
今回お世話になった、大雲沢ヒュッテ。送迎もしていただいてありがとうございました。
食事もとてもおいしかったです。（夕食に出た汁物…のっぺってやつなのかなぁ…特においしかったです。）守門岳、浅草岳などの登山にはお勧めです。
