The famous Ginkgo biloba (Ichou) tree by the Tama river has turned yellow.
橋から見下ろすと、御岳渓谷のランドマーク、大銀杏がきれいに色づいていました。
We went to Mitake to see how the big Ginkgo biloba (Ichou) tree by the Tama river looks now.
The tree turned yellow and we also found some red maple trees. It was Friday, but there were quite a few people visiting the area to see some fall colors.
御岳の大銀杏を確認に出かけてきました。
きれいな黄色に色づいています。周辺には、紅く色づいたカエデもあって、なかなかきれいな紅葉を楽しめました。
There were several red maple trees under Mitake bridge.
御岳橋の下には、きれいなカエデが密集していました。
It was so colorful through the sunlight.
向こうには大銀杏が見えています。
御嶽駅に到着したのがお昼ごろ。
本当はお蕎麦を食べてから散策の予定でしたが、ちょうど日差しがいい感じだったので、先に散策しました。
日光を透かした紅葉…やっぱりいいですね。

今年もきれいな紅葉と黄葉、楽しませてもらいました。
The Soba noodle restaurant across from the Mitake bus stop, Tamagawa-ya.
We had "Ten-zaru Soba", the Soba noodles with Tempura, for lunch.
天ざるは1400円…ちょっと高めですが、天ぷらが盛りだくさんで、お腹いっぱい。
After lunch, we walked by the river to Sawai.
食後は、沢井まで散策。途中、きれいな紅葉スポットがありました。
沢井では、いつも通り、利き酒所で一杯、お酒を味わってから帰路につきました。
