We found quite a few kinds of violets.

The spur is bright purple.

Meles meles anakuma (Nihon Anaguma, Japanese Badger).

I saw this animal for the first time.

It kept looking at us and stayed there for a while,

and then moved in the nest.

Mt. Fuji 5th Station (October 25th)

 

Mt. Fuji on the way from the 5th Station to Okuniwa.

    We haven't gone out away for a while, and we finally went out for some mountain.
We went to the 5th station of Mt. Fuji for fall colors and the special cranberry jam of Okuniwa.
The view of Mt. Fuji was amazing with the contrast of golden leaves of larch trees and blue sky!
It was so clear that we could see lots of mountains including Mt. Yatsugatake and some mountains of South Alps.

ようやく久々に遠出してきました。
富士五合目から御中道を奥庭まで下りました。
天気が最高で、青空とカラマツの黄葉を楽しめました。
奥庭では、もう一つの目的の苔桃ジャムも手に入れてきました。
お湯で溶いてお茶にしてもいいし、アイスクリームとかヨーグルトに入れても美味しいんですよ。

 

Most of the mountain ash leaves were gone at the 5th station,

but we found some with beautiful red leaves.

We walked down from the 5th station to Okuniwa through Ochuudou trail.

The view of Mt. Fuji was amazing!

 

We walked in the larch forest with golden leaves.

 

We couldn't stop being amazed with the beautiful scenery!

 

We could see lots of mountains far, far away.

The contrast of blue and yellow was amazing.

We bought cranberry jam at a shop in Okuniwa.

The ground was covered with cranberry plants.

足元には苔桃が群生しています。
