The Hike to Mt. Nyuutou, Part 2 (September 21st)

Here are the last bunch of the pictures taken on the hike to Mt. Nyuutou.
These were taken from Mt. Yumori to Mt. Nyuutou via Mt. Zarumori.
Especially, around Mt. Zarumori, you can see more dense red colors.
I couldn't stop taking pictures and kept taking pictures in practically every second!

乳頭山を目指してのハイクでは、湯森山を越えて、笊森山へ向かう周辺がすごかったです。
乳頭山からは田代平へ、そこから孫六温泉に下山、最終の新幹線で帰京しました。

The Hike to Mt. Nyuutou, Part 1 (September 21st)

After staying at the 8th station hut of Mt. Akitakomagatake, we hiked to Mt. Nyuutou.
Here are the first bunch of the pictures taken on the way to the mountain.
These were taken on the trail through Mt. Sasamori, Mt. Yumori and Mt. Zarumori.

秋田駒ケ岳八合目小屋に一泊した後、乳頭山まで歩いてきました。
途中、笹森山、湯森山、笊森山の3つをつないでのハイクは、紅葉も景色も最高のコースでした。
まずは、笹森山、湯森山周辺の写真から。

Hemerocallis dumortieri var. esculenta (Nikkou Kisuge, or Zenteika).

The leaves turned yellow.

The whole plant turned red.

When we left the hut, the landscape was covered with clouds.

However, the clouds were clearing off.
