Nogawa Park and Musashino Park (November 24th)

The maple leaves were colorful in Musashino Park.

It was cloudy this morning, but we just quickly went to check the fall color in our neighborhood.
Both in Nogawa Park and Musashino Park, we found quite a few colorful trees; maples, Ginkgo trees and Zelkova serrata (Keyaki).

Mitake (November 18th)

The maples were red at Mitake Sta.

After we walked around at the Nippara area in Okutama, we took the train to Mitake sta. and walked by the Tama river.  The big Ginkgo tree turned yellow and maples were red there.
We kept walking till we got to Ozawa Sake brewery at Sawai, where we tasted a cup of Sake.  I had Yuzu-citrus-flavored Sake.

Nippara in Okutama (November 18th)

Ginkgo (Ichou) tree turned yellow at a shrine near Okutama Sta.

We went to see some fall colors in the Nippara area, Okutama, and in the Mitake area, Ome.  Here are the pictures taken in the Nippara area.  We walked from Higashi Nippara bus stop to Kawanori-bashi bus stop.

The leaves are all gone near the top of the mountains.

We found some beautiful red maples here and there.

Interesting contrast of colors.
