After we had lunch at the market, we went to Kyoudo-no-mori Park. The plum blossoms were in peak there and we enjoyed the sweet smell of the flowers, too. In the park there were also quite a few of Erythronium japonicum (Katakuri) flowers blooming, which we didn't know they have so many in there.
府中の郷土の森公園に梅を見に出かけてきました。
自宅から新小金井駅に歩いていく途中、歩道沿いにスミレが咲いていました。ちょっと離れたところのマンションに植えたものの種が飛んできたようです。
新小金井から是政まで多摩川線で移動して、そこから、まずは府中の卸売りセンターに行きました。いろんな食材屋さんがそろっていて、楽しいです。時間があるときは、隣にあるサントリーの工場見学でビールを頂くのもお勧めです。（個人的にプレミアム・モルツの黒のファンです！）
今回は、山形庄内産のアサツキやらお値打ちのデコポン、アボカドなんかを購入しました。
（アボカドは夕食のパスタにしてまずは頂きました。６個入りだったのでまだ４個残ってます…何作ろうかなぁ。）
お昼をすませた後、ようやく本題の公園へ。ここの梅は種類もなかなか豊富なので、見ごたえ十分。おまけにカタクリやシュンランも咲いていましたよ。
日曜は、野生のシュンランを探しに出かけようかと思います。

名札がなかったので品種名は不明ですが、一つ一つの花が大きくて華やか。

I like this kind best. The flowers are slightly pink and have wonderful smell.
It is not obviously gorgeous, but it reminds me of the one.
豊後梅が一番好きです。昔、実家の庭に植えてありました。
その根元には、春先になるとアサツキが芽を出して、そのお浸しが大好きでした。
