Road Trip to Fairbanks, Day 8, Part 2 (May 31st)

I have no idea what mountain this is, but it was amazing.

Here is the second bunch of the pictures taken on Day 8 of our road trip.
We were getting closer to Muncho Lake and the latter shots were taken at Liard Hot Springs.

We found these at the wetland in Liard Hot Springs area.

裏側がほんのり紅色。

This fern looks like the one we eat in Japan.

There is a pretty similar species in Japan.
コチャルメルソウみたいなやつ。

うーん、北アメリカにも日本とよく似たスミレが咲いてるようですね~! なかなか興味深いです!

あと、コチャルメルソウみたいなのも(^^;)
アジアから北米、南米へと人が渡っていったように植物も分布を広げていったのでしょうね。

てばまるさん、こんにちは。

尾瀬や高尾山では今、こんなの咲いてる時期なんだなぁとちょくちょくブログの方、チェックさせてもらってます。

コチャルメルソウみたいなのが咲いてたのは、カナダにあるLiard Hot Springsっていう自然に湧き出してる温泉のあたりでした。温泉のある公園を管理してる人によると、地熱の影響で、ここだけ特殊な生態系をつくっているそうです。
まだアップしてませんが、アラスカの海辺のエリアでは、ハマナスも見かけました。知ってる花を見つけるとやっぱりうれしいです。
スミレよりも、マメ科の植物(ルピナスとか、○○ノエンドウみないなの)がやたらたくさんある印象です。
フェアバンクスに到着してから、まだどこにも山歩きに行ってないので、近いうちにどっか出かけられたらと思ってます。
