The mountains in the Hakuba area from the Gondola.
Here are the pictures taken on the first day of our Hakuba trip.
We took the night train, Moonlight Shinshuu from Tachikawa and got to Hakuba sta. around 5:40 AM. From there, we took the 6:00 bus to Tsugaike Kougen BS. Then, we rode the gondola and rope way to get to Tsugaike Kougen Park.
We started hiking to Hakuba Ooike around 8:00 after Onigiri breakfast.
Near Mt. Norikuradake, there were lots of campanula flowers and soon after the peak of the mountain, we got the nice view of Hakuba Ooike (pond). We got to the pond around 12:30.
We checked in the hut by the pond and just enjoyed looking around the area.
白馬の旅、第１日目の写真です。
夜行のムーンライト信州を使って、早朝５時４０分ごろ、白馬駅に到着。
そこからバス、ゴンドラ、ロープウェイを乗り継いで、栂池高原に到着。作ってきたおにぎりを食べた後、天狗原、乗鞍岳を経由して、昼過ぎには白馬大池に到着。
前回はここから白馬山荘まで進んだのですが、今回は、しばらく山歩きをサボっていたことも考慮して、大池の小屋に泊まりました。一部屋に４人だったので、十分、余裕をもって泊まれました。

乗鞍岳をすぎると程なく、白馬大池の絶景が広がります。
今日はここでランチタイム。
