Yatsugatake (Part 2), Nagano (June 8th and 9th)

 

Mt. Akadake and Mt. Nakadake from the Gyouja Hut.

    Here are the pictures taken on the way to Mt. Akadake.  On the first day when we got to the hut right near the summit of Mt. Akadake, it was no rain till we got there.  However, after we got there, it started to rain.  There were only four guests including us on that day, so we enjoyed a quiet night.
   The next day, the wind was so strong that we both got scared to keep going on the ridge of Mt. Yokodake to Mt. Ioudake.  The rain wouldn't stop for a long time, so we could hardly take any pictures.  From Mt. Ioudake we went down to Natsuzawa Pass and kept going down to Honzawa Hot Spring, where we stayed.

天気に恵まれず、雨が降ったり、やんだりの繰り返しでした。

・６月９日（土）
　赤岳頂上山荘（７：００ごろ）…ものすごい暴風と雨（怖くて写真どころではなかったです。）…横岳（最高地点）…硫黄岳山荘（１０：００ごろ到着。３０ 分休憩。ぜんざいで一瞬、温まる。）…硫黄岳（１１：００ごろ）…夏沢峠（１２：００ぐらい）…本沢温泉（１３：００ごろ）。

・６月１０日（日）
　本沢温泉（朝食前に、もちろん朝風呂。７：１０出発）…みどり池（この辺り何となく北欧っぽい。行ったことないけど。８：５０ごろ到着）…延々と続くカ ラマツ林…稲子湯バス停（１０：００ごろ）…松原湖駅…初めての小海線（延々とレタス畑）…小渕沢…あずさ（ビールで乾杯！）…自宅（１５：３０ごろ）。

ここでは、８日に赤岳頂上山荘までの山の眺めと、９日に暴風の合間にかろうじて撮れた横岳の花の写真を紹介します。

文三郎コース...結構、急ですが、眺めが楽しめるのでいいですよね。

 

Here is the Akadake Choujou Hut.

夕食時の温かいお茶がおいしかった。

 

Pulsatilla nipponica (Tsukumo-gusa).
This plant is known for its rarity, because they grown only in Mt. Yokodake area 

and Mt. Hakuba area in Honshu island, Japan.

横岳の怖いような岩場でたくさん咲き始めてました。

残念ながら、前回に引き続き雨...

 

Oxytropis japonica (Oyama-no-endou).

岩場で目立っていたのがこの鮮やかな紫。

 

Finally we could get some view at the Mt. Yokodake area on the second day.

ちいさなウルップソウの赤ちゃんも見つけました。
