Inokashira Park (December 4th)

It is the best time to see the fall colors here in Tokyo now.

Today I went to Inokashira Park. I didn't know there are so many maple trees there. I walked around the park for about 30 minutes or so, but I really enjoyed the beautiful colors of the maple trees through the sunlight.

A maple tree by the pond.

A huge maple tree with red leaves.

I like these shadows of the tree trunks...

It was just amazing to see the colors in such a perfect lighting, which is of course 100 % natural.

It's looks like here in France. No much frost till today so the leaves are not all falling down as usual at this time of the year.
Are these trees Acer palmatum ?
Beautiful colours. Thanks

That's right.
Most of these maple trees are Acer palmatum (Iroha Momiji). The Ghibli Museum (about the animations made by Hayao Miyazaki) is located right beside this park...I have never entered it, though...
