Sansha Peak to Jizou-no-Kashira, Yatsugatake, Nagano (July 11th)

Aquilegia flabellata var. pumila (Miyama Odamaki).
This place has amazing variety of flowers, so you can get nice background of other kinds of flowers without trying.

Minuartia arctica (Takane Tsumekusa) and Oxytropis japonica (Oyama-no-endou).

Pedicularis apodochila (Miyama Shiogama), Lagotis glauca (Uruppu-sou) and Anemone narcissiflora (Hakusan Ichige).

Diapensia lapponica var. obovata (Iwa-ume).
It looks like a natural Bonsai!

Anemone narcissiflora (Hakusan Ichige).

Lagotis glauca (Uruppu-sou) and Mt. Amidadake.

Mt. Akadake.

Mt. Akadake with Oxytropis japonica (Oyama-no-endou).

Mt. Fuji (far away...) with Oxytropis japonica (Oyama-no-endou).

Schizocodon soldanelloides f. alpinus (Ko Iwa Kagami) and Phyllodoce nipponica (Tsuga-zakura).

After Sansha peak, we had to pass some scary place like this.

Campanula chamissonis (Chishima-gikyou).
We found lots of buds between the rocks on the way to Mt. Akadake area.

Jizou-no-kashira Junction and Mt. Akadake.
We had lunch near the lower hut.
