Mt. Takao & Hikage (March 6th)

Chrysosplenium album var. stamineum (Hana Nekonome) at Mt. Takao.

We went to Mt. Takao and hiked on the trail to Mt. Kobotoke-shiroyama. And then we went down on the Hikage trail. The Chrysosplenium album var. stamineum (Hana Nekonome) flowers in Mt. Takao were just starting yet. We could find only a couple of tiny flowers blooming. At the Hikage area, there were quite a few of them already blooming.

I hope that all is going well with you, family and friends.
Thinking of you of course.

Thank you for your comment, JPPreaux.
When the big earthquake hit here in Tokyo, we were in our apartment. It lasted for 5 minutes or so, and it was the biggest one we have felt ever. But we both are okay. No problem.
My parents and brother's family in Yamagata are also fine. They suffered from the blackout on Friday and Saturday, though.
The pacific coast area in the Touhoku area was horribly destroyed!
From today, they are going to start the planned blackout here in Tokyo to save some electricity.

Thank you for the news. Glad to read that you are safe.
5 minutes must have been very long I suppose.
Take care!
