The Midnight Sun, Eagle Summit Wayside (June 23rd and 24th)

Here are some pictures of the sun not setting around the summer solstice.

We stayed at Eagle Summit Wayside and slept on the back of our rig, and we woke up once in a while to take the pictures of the sun.

According to the information board there, at Eagle Summit from around June 17th until about June 24th, you can see the sun at midnight.

イーグル・サミットでは、夏至の頃、夜中でも沈まない太陽が見られます。

本来、この現象が見られる所よりも緯度的には南にあるそうなのですが、標高などの関係で見られるんだそうです。
