Road Trip to Fairbanks, Day 4 (May 27th)

Sayornis saya (Say's Phoebe).
They were synchronizing.

On Day 4 of our Road Trip, we stayed at our friend's place and he took us to Umtanum Creek Canyon area.  We enjoyed nice hiking and found some flowers and berries.
On that day, it was my birthday and, to my surprise, one of my friend's grandchildren has the same birthday as mine, so they celebrate my birthday, too.
I used pretty often that knife he gave me during our trip and I am using the mug they gave me here in Fairbanks!

On the way to Umtanum Creek Recreation Area.

We found another Oriole again!
Icterus bullockii (Bullock's oriole).

After that, my face was covered with whitish yellow pollen without noticing.

Cleome lutea (Yellow Bee Plant).

Some of the sagebrush were pretty big.

I like this kind of wild rose, because it smells nice.

Iliamna rivularis (Streambank Globe Mallow).

The petals have interesting pattern.
