Tonogayato Garden and Fuchuu-no-Mori Park (November 25th)

Tonogayato Garden in Kokubunji.

We went to see some fall colors in Tonogayato Garden in Kokubunji.
There were some red maple trees, but there were still lots of green maples.
On the way back home from the garden, we happened to find some nice red maples in Fuchuu-no-Mori Park.

ネットで、国分寺の殿ヶ谷戸庭園の紅葉が見頃との情報を見つけて、確認しに行ってきました。
例年、12月に入ってから出かけていたので、ちょっと早すぎやしないかと思っていたのですが、案の定、まだまだ緑色なカエデが目立ちました。
とはいえ、きれいに色づいたものもいくつか見つけられました。
帰りに、たまたま府中の森公園を通り過ぎたのですが、きれいな赤いカエデを見ることができました。

府中の森公園…初めて立ち寄りました。なかなかきれいなカエデがあって楽しめました。

Tonogayato Garden (November 27th)

Tonogayato Garden in Kokubunji.

We went cycling to Sourousen-en Park in Koganei, Tonogayato Garden in Kokubunji and then came back home passing through Musashino Park and Nogawa Park.
In Sourousen-en Park, it was a little too early to see fall color. However, we saw nice fall color in Tonogayato Garden. Here are the pictures taken there.

天気もいいので、自転車で、小金井の滄浪泉園経由で、殿ヶ谷戸公園に出かけてきました。
滄浪泉園の紅葉はまだ早かったようですが、殿ヶ谷戸の方はきれいな紅葉が見られました。




オレンジ系のモミジが多いような気がします。

Today we rode the bikes to Sourousen-en Garden in Koganei, Tonogayato Gardens in Kokubunji, and back home via Nogawa Park. Here you can see the pictures from the first 2 gardens.

Sourousen-en Garden and Tonogayato Garden (December 6th)

Sourousen-en Garden in Koganei.

We went to Tonogayato Garden in Kokubunji by bicycle to see the fall color. On the way to there we found a garden called Sourousen-en. We have never been to or heard of the garden before, but the view from the entrance gate looked pretty nice and interesting, so we went in the garden. The garden had nice big maple trees and we saw the beautiful colors of the leaves brightened up by the morning sunshine. In Tonogayato Garden it was not as good as last year, but we could see some nice maple trees.
