Oze Trip, Part 1 (July 9th)

Hatomachi Touge BS. Not so many buses and people this time.
鳩待峠に到着。平日の昼過ぎということもあってか、バスも人も少なかったです。

Here are the pictures from our Oze trip the last weekend.
I took lots of pictures, so here are the first bunch taken on the first day of our trip, July 9th.

Day 1:

ようやく写真の整理ができました。
まずは、初日に撮った写真の一部です。今回は夜行バスではなく、朝に新宿発のバスで行きました。人も少なくて、ゆっくり出来てよかったです。（今度行くときもこのパターンがいいかも…）
この日は、時々晴れ間も差したりしていたのですが、尾瀬ヶ原を散策してしばらくして小雨が降ってきたと思ったら、夕食時には本降りになってしまいました。夜寝ている間中、ずっと雨がテントに打ち付ける音がしていました。（この日、山の鼻キャンプ場で天泊したのは、自分たち一組だけでした。）


Streptopus amplexifolius var. papillatus (Ooba Takeshima-ran) on the way to Yamanohana.
タケシマランとは、花の形もかなり違います。


Mimulus sessilifolius (Ooba Mizohoozuki).
高尾の日影とかでみられるミゾホウズキと比べて、花も大振りで目立ちます。


Parasenecio nikomontanus (Oo Kani-koumori).


Apodemus argenteus (Hime Nezumi).
なかなか逃げようとしませんでした。
ちっちゃくて可愛いです。


Aconitum gigas var. hondoense (Oo Reijin-sou).


Lysichiton camtschatcense (Mizubashou).
ミズバショウの葉もこんなに大きくなっています。


Iris setosa (Hiougi Ayame).
花弁の模様が美しいです。


Oreorchis patens (Kokei-ran).
コケイラン…初めて見ました。


Allium victorialis subsp. platyphyllum (Gyouja Ninniku).


Yamanohana Camp Site.
We were the only group who stayed there on that day.


Hemerocallis dumortieri var. esculenta, aka Hemerocallis middendorffii var. esculenta (Nikkou Kisuge, Zenteika).
あちこちで咲き出しています。

Platanthera mandarinorum (Maisagi-sou).


Osmunda cinnamomea var. fokiensis (Yamadori Zenmai).

Malus sieboldii (Zumi).
もう実になっていました。


Eleorchis japonica (Sawa-ran, Asahi-ran).
サワラン…鮮やかな紅色が目を惹きます。




Sanguisorba officinalis (Waremokou).
ほんの咲き始めがひとつ、ふたつ。


Eriophorum vaginatum (Watasuge) and Iris laevigata (Kakitsubata).
The wetland was covered with those 2 flowers. Amazing!
ワタスゲとカキツバタがたくさんありました。本当に見事です。


Drosera anglica (Nagaba-no-mousengoke).


Pogonia japonica (Toki-sou).
I didn't expect we could see so many of this orchid so easily...
トキソウ…こんなに群生しているとは思いませんでした。すごいです。

Oze Trip (June 9th - 11th)

Eriophorum vaginatum (Watasuge).
On the way to Ushikubi Junction in Ozegahara.
ピークは過ぎていましたが、まだまだ見ごたえ十分。

We went to Oze this weekend.
We camped out at the Yamanohana camping site for 2 nights, and we climbed Mt. Shibutsu (2228.1 m) for the first time. The rock of this mountain is mainly sepentinite, which is composed of one or more serpentine group minerals. That is why the mountain has its own really unique flora. We both took more than 1000 pictures, so it might take quite a while to sort them out.

2回目の尾瀬。行ってきました。
山の鼻キャンプ場で2泊して、至仏山に登ってきました。
想像以上に素晴らしかったです。山の鼻から山頂まで地図では3時間とか3時間半とか書いてありましたが、初めて見る花々に惹き止められて、たっぷり5時間かかりました。
ということで、1000ショット以上、デジカメで撮ってしまったので、ただ今、整理中です。
時間がかかりそうなので、先にちょこっとだけ、どうぞ。


Hemerocallis dumortieri var. esculenta, aka Hemerocallis middendorffii var. esculenta (Nikkou Kisuge, Zenteika).
結構、咲き出していました。


Japonolirion osense (Oze-sou) at Mt. Shibutsu.
This plant has "Oze" in its name. It grows only at Mt. Shibutsu, Mt. Tanigawadake and some area in Hokkaido.
オゼソウ…初めて見ました。しゅっとしてて、清々しいです。
もっとちらほらなのかと思ったら、いっぱい咲いていました。


Erigeron thunbergii subsp. glabratus var. heterotrichus (Joushuu Azuma-giku) at Mt. Shibutsu.
This flower is also found in the limited area including Mt. Shibutsu and Mt. Tanigawadake.
こちらもお初のジョウシュウアズマギク。予想以上に美しくて、予想以上にいっぱい咲いていました。本当に素敵な色合いです。
今回、出会った花の中で一番好きな花です。


Leontopodium fauriei var. angustifolium (Hosoba Hina Usuyuki-sou), which also grows only at Mt. Shibutsu and Mt. Tanigawadake, and Pedicularis verticillata (Takane Shiogama) at Mt. Shibutsu.
目的のホソバヒナウスユキソウもたくさん咲いていました。
まだまだドライフラワーにはなっていませんでしたよ。
至仏山…恐るべしです。こんなにこんなにお花が咲いているとは…
多くの方が中毒を発症されるのも、2回目にして、ようやく納得できました。

A Memoir of Snow and Ice

A Memoir of Mt. Komagatake

Autumn colors from the Komagatake Ropeway to Senjoujiki Kar (or Cirque) on October 7th, 2006.
駒ケ岳ロープウェイからの紅葉。

Here is another bunch of the pictures taken before.
They were taken when we first visited the Mt. Komagatake area of the South Alps in 2006.
On the first day of our trip, it was cloudy and almost everything hidden in the fog on the way to the hut. However, it turned to be winter during the night and the place was covered with ice when we came back to the ropeway station. It was really freezing cold!

過去画像、第3弾は「駒ケ岳」です。中央アルプスはこの時が初めてで唯一の旅でした。
頂上山荘までの登りは、冷たい霧に包まれてほとんど何も見えませんでした。朝、明けてみると、一面、氷に覆われて、刺すように冷たい風が吹き付けていました。十分な装備をしていなくて、手袋もなしに凍えそうになりながらロープウェイの千畳敷駅に戻ると、空が晴れ始め、光り輝く氷と紅葉と両方を楽しむことが出来ました。7月とかに行ってみようかなぁ…

We didn't prepare for this!
It was really cold!!
全く予期せぬ展開で…手袋もないし…つるつる滑るし…怖かったです。


The sky started to clear up when we came close to the ropeway station.
千畳敷に入って、ようやく晴れてきました。


There was no ice when we came up the day before! Amazing!

We stayed at the Komagane Youth Hostel after coming down from the mountain.
There is hot spring near there.
下山後は、駒ヶ根ユースホステルにもう1泊してゆっくりしてから帰路につきました。

A Memoir of Lake Yamanaka

Mt. Fuji at Yamanaka Lake on April 6th, 2005.

Here is another series of the pictures taken quite a long time ago.
This time, I gathered some pictures taken at Lake Yamanaka in Yamanashi.
We used to go there pretty often, too, because we found a nice little pension there, called "Pension Marimo", where you can also taste wonderful dinner and breakfast made by the owner and his wife.

発掘画像、第2弾は、「山中湖」でまとめてみました。
ここも以前、よく出掛けていました。というのも、初めての二人旅の時にたまたま立ち寄ったペンションがとても良くて、山中湖へ行くとそちらにお世話になっていました。
最近、ずっと行っていませんが、料理のおいしい「ペンションまりも」にまた行ってみたいなぁ…

前年はススキに覆われていた場所。この時は野焼きがあったのかなぁ…曇り空の下、何とも不思議な光景が広がっていました。

A Memoir of Mt. Kumotori

Here in Tokyo, now it's rainy season, so we didn't go out to take any nice pictures these days.
And I was sorting out the pictures taken in the past; 2004 & 2005.
I will upload some pictures I found in that archive.
First, here are the pictures taken at Mt. Kumotori.
We used to climb that mountain pretty often... The first camping out together was there, too.

東京も梅雨入りし、しばらくどこにも出掛けずゴロゴロしていました。
昔の写真のデータを整理していたのですが、その中からピックアップして紹介していきたいと思います。
第1弾は「雲取山」をテーマに選んでみました。
以前は、年に2，3回登っていました。初めて一緒に天泊したのも、雲取山でした。
（天泊といっても、テントがなかったので、お花見とかにつかうようなブルーシートとロープで即席のテントをこしらえて、その中で夜風を感じながら寝たのが思い出されます。）
今年はいつ行こうかなぁ…
