A Memoir of Lake Yamanaka

Here is another series of the pictures taken quite a long time ago.
This time, I gathered some pictures taken at Lake Yamanaka in Yamanashi.
We used to go there pretty often, too, because we found a nice little pension there, called "Pension Marimo", where you can also taste wonderful dinner and breakfast made by the owner and his wife.

発掘画像、第2弾は、「山中湖」でまとめてみました。
ここも以前、よく出掛けていました。というのも、初めての二人旅の時にたまたま立ち寄ったペンションがとても良くて、山中湖へ行くとそちらにお世話になっていました。
最近、ずっと行っていませんが、料理のおいしい「ペンションまりも」にまた行ってみたいなぁ…

The field was filled with Miscanthus sinensis (Susuki) grass.
風になびくススキがきれいでした。

マツムシソウもここで初めて見ました。自然の花とは思えないエレガントさです。

ススキがきらきら。この日は明神山（鉄砲木の頭）に天泊しました。

Mt. Fuji turned red after the sunrise.
いわゆる「赤富士」ってやつに近いもの、初めて見ました。

天気が良いとこんなパノラマが楽しめます。


The same place as the one with Miscanthus sinensis (Susuki) grass above.
This one was taken on May 8th, 2006. They must have set a fire on the field.
前年はススキに覆われていた場所。この時は野焼きがあったのかなぁ…曇り空の下、何とも不思議な光景が広がっていました。
