Grizzly Bears (September 3rd)

 

Ursus arctos horribilis (Grizzly Bear).

 On the morning of the second day of our trip, we found a mother and three cubs of grizzly bear near Eagle Summit on the way to Circle.

They were so busy eating breakfast that we were able to watch them for a while.

Eagle Summitからハイウェイの終点であるCircleまで行ってみようということで、

Eagle Summitの駐車場を出て間もなくして熊の母子に遭遇しました。

しかも小熊が3匹も！

母熊のそばで一生懸命、ベリーか何かを食べていました。

 

They were right by the highway.

We were watching them behind our rig.

ハイウェイのすぐ側に黒い点を発見。

 

First they were look like this from the car window.

 

Here is the mother bear. 

よく見ると母熊と…

 

One of the three cubs. 

小熊でした。

 

しかも3匹も小熊がいる！ 

 

遠めだと可愛く見えるけど、

母熊の目がちょっと怖いです。
