Hakuba Trip, Part 5 (July 25th)

Around 4:08 in the morning.
朝4時に起床。朝食はお弁当にしてもらって、すぐに猿倉に向け、下山開始。

Here are the pictures taken on the last day of our Hakuba Trip.
Soon after we left the hot spring hut, we got to the icy snow area... It was really scary because it was early morning and the snow was still really hard.

Day 3:

白馬ハイク、最終日。
猿倉でのバスの時間があるので、起きるとすぐに準備して出発。
鑓温泉を出て間もなくして、カチカチの雪渓に遭遇。アイゼンがなかったので、ものすご～く怖い思いをしながら、一歩一歩、時間をかけて進みました。雪渓を過ぎたとおもったら、しばらくして、再び、雪渓に逆戻り、こんなことなら、温泉小屋で売ってた軽アイゼン、買っておくんだった…
前日から、どうも左膝の調子がおかしく、下りで足を曲げる度に痛い思いをしながら、猿倉まで何とか到着。始発バスは5分くらい前に出てしまっていたので、結局、タクシーで白馬駅に戻りました。

雪渓に取りかかる頃、日が昇ってきました。


The first snow part... It was so scary!
最初の雪渓…カチカチで、結構、斜度があるので、すごく怖かったです。


Once we thought we were back to normal trail, we were soon back to the same snow part...
雪渓を抜けたと思ったら、再び、同じ雪渓の別の場所に戻ってしまいました。


Here is the snow part we walked... Isn't it pretty big?
これが最初に出くわした雪渓。後ろに人がいるの見えますか？結構な斜度ですよね。

Prunella prunelliformis (Tateyama Utsubo-gusa).


After we passed the scary part, we could get the amazing view like this.


ハラハラする様な道が続きますが、そこを抜けるとこんな絶景が。

下のほうに小さな人の列が見えるの分かりますか？
このコースの怖さ…伝わるかなぁ…


The sky was beautiful today, too!

こちらにもちっちゃな人の列が下のほうに見えています。滑落しそうな怖い道です。


Primula jesoana (Oo-Sakura-sou).
オオサクラソウ。葉っぱが印象的。


所々で、こんな標識が出てきました。


Around the Sanjiro area.


Oreorchis patens (Kokei-ran).


Diphylleia grayi (Sankayou).

この中のどこかに鑓温泉小屋が…見つけられますか？


The answer is "Here!"
答えはこちら。こんな所に建ってたんですね…

Paris japonica, or Kinugasa japonica (Kinugasa-sou).
This was the biggest patch of this flower during our trip.
猿倉への下りでは、キヌガサソウがよく見られました。

小日向の標識にようやく到着。周辺では、ミズバショウがまだ白い花をつけていました。


The eggs of Rhacophorus arboreus (Mori Aogaeru).
It was hanging on the branch above a pond.
モリアオガエルの卵？
池の上に迫り出した枝にぶら下がってました。


After this view, we walked down in the forest to get to the junction to Sarukura.
ここからしばらく、樹林帯の中を下っていきます。


Finally we got to the Sarukura area. We rushed to the hut to get ice cream!
猿倉にようやく到着。何より先にアイスクリームをゲットしました！
ちょっとの差でバスが出てしまっていたので、タクシーに乗ろうと、シェアする他の人を待っていると、温泉小屋で隣で寝ていたお兄さん2人がやってきて、白馬駅まで計4人でシェアできました。
タクシー代は駅まで3600円。

Hakuba Trip, Part 4 (July 24th)

Leontopodium japonicum var. shiroumense (Mine Usuyuki-sou).
杓子岳と白馬鑓ケ岳の間の最低鞍部付近にて。

Here is the 2nd part of the pictures taken on the 2nd day of our Hakuba Trip.
The pictures were taken on the way to Mt. Hakuba Yarigatake and Yari Onsen (Hot Spring).
There were even more flowers on the ridge to Mt. Hakuba Yarigatake.

白馬2日目の写真のつづき。
最低鞍部から白馬鑓ケ岳、そしてこの日の宿となる白馬鑓温泉への道のりで撮った写真です。
白馬鑓ケ岳への稜線上が、これまた見事なお花畑が続きます。
温泉は、しっかり硫黄臭のする、白い湯花がただよういい温泉でした。日焼けの肌に、熱めの湯がピリッときましたけど…


Erigeron thunbergii ssp. glabratus (Miyama Azumagiku) and other flowers on the backside.
ごめんなさい。またまたミヤマアズマギク。
最低鞍部ではいろんな花々が乱れ咲きでした。


Aquilegia flabellata var. pumila (Miyama Odamaki) on the way up to Mt. Hakuba Yarigatake.
最低鞍部から登り出すと、岩場で目立った花のひとつがこちら。風が強くてなかなか上手く撮れず…


Aquilegia flabellata var. pumila (Miyama Odamaki), which was forming a blue belt.
こんな感じで群生しています。黄色く見えているのは、ミヤマタンポポ（あるいはシロウマタンポポも混じってるかも）。


When we looked back, we could see Mt. Shiroumadake and Mt. Shakushidake.
Isn't it cool?
ふと振り返ると、これまで歩いてきた白馬岳、杓子岳の2山が目の前に！


And we could see more mountains from there...
見えているのは2山だけではなく、旭岳を含め、パノラマが広がります。
（パノラマはただ今、製作中…上手くいくかなぁ…しばしお待ちを。）


Eritrichium nipponicum (Miyama Murasaki).
1箇所だけミヤマムラサキが咲いているところを発見。
きれいな空色でした。


Minuartia verna var. japonica (Hosoba Tsumekusa).
これまた違ったツメクサ系。よーく見ると、おしべの葯が薄ピンクです。


Mt. Hakuba Yarigatake. You could see tiny shadows of people on the ridge of the green area.
白馬鑓ケ岳山頂が見えてきました。緑色の稜線のあたりに、ちっちゃ～い人影が見えます。
もうちょっとあるなぁ～大分、疲れてきましたが、花や景色が癒してくれます。


Lagotis glauca f. albiflora (Shirobana Uruppu-sou).
We found only one of this white one.
小鑓付近で発見。これって、終わりかけで色がくすんだんじゃなくて、白花ですよね？

シロバナウルップソウがあった場所にはこんなお花畑が広がってました。


Saxifraga bronchialis ssp. funstonii var. rebunshirensis (Shikotan-sou).
岩場と言ったら、やはり群生しています。
個体によっては、花弁がクリーム色のもありますが、そちらはドットのグラデーションが緩くなるようでした。

小鑓から白馬岳、杓子岳を見ると、さっきより視点が高くなってるの、分かりますか？

白馬鑓ケ岳頂上からの眺め。まずは剱岳と立山連峰。バックには日本海が見えています。

そして、白馬鑓ケ岳山頂からの白馬岳、杓子岳。
2山ともキリッとしてます。

白馬鑓ケ岳から下り始めると、大きな雪渓が見えます。


Viola crassa ssp. alpicola (Kumoma Sumire).
そして、その石灰質なガレ地では、クモマスミレが広がっていました。

ピントはあってませんが、2つの花の競演。きれいです。


Mt. Hakuba Yarigatake from the other side... The ground was covered with whitish rocks.
白馬鑓ケ岳を振り返るとこんな感じ。こっち側は白っぽい石ころで覆われています。


Oxytropis japonica (Oyama-no-endou).
花期が早いので、この時期では他の花に隠れて目立ちませんが、やっぱりきれいな色してます。


The junction to the Yari Onsen. From here, we went down apart from the ridge.
鑓温泉への分岐に到着。ここから、このすばらしい稜線から離れ、下っていきます。


Dicentra peregrina (Komakusa).
稜線を離れても、お花は続くのでした…うれしい。


Arnica unalascensis var. tschonoskyi (Usagi-giku).
黄色が青空に映えます。


Anemone narcissiflora (Hakusan Ichige).
白いお花畑も、青空をバックに気持ち良さそう。


Primula cuneifolia var. hakusanensis (Hakusan Kozakura).
残雪の近くでは、まだフレッシュなハクサンコザクラも。
終わりかけのものは、青っぽい紫色に、驚くくらい色が変わっていました。


Geum pentapetalum (Chinguruma).
チングルマもこの周辺では、まだまだ咲いています。


Phyllodoce aleutica (Ao-no-Tsugazakura).


A kind of Platanthera orchid...
う～ん、何者だろう…キソチドリ？でも、なんか違うし…

大出原をすぎて、しんどい下りがしばし続いた後、キヌガサソウの群生が驚かせてくれました。


Lilium medeoloides (Kuruma Yuri).
このあたり、クルマユリも多いです。


Finally! We could see the Yari Onsen Hut!
ようやく鑓温泉小屋が見えました。
すぐ隣に大きな雪渓が残ります。
途中、ノウゴウイチゴの花が咲いていました。

お待ちかねの鑓温泉。
写真では見えていませんが、ちょっと立ち上がると、すぐ下の登山道や足湯から丸見えです。
シャイな人には、ちとつらいかも…
3回くらい入ったかなぁ…さっぱりして床に就きました。
（夕食は、鶏の照り焼きでした。柔らかくておいしかったです。味噌汁もうまかった。）
