Prunus mume 'Shiro Namba' （白難波）
Today we went to Jindai Botanical Garden to see if any Shibateranthis pinnatifida (Setsubun-sou) flowers bloom yet. In the garden, there were more kinds of plum blossoms starting to bloom than the last time I went there. It was a little too early for the Adonis flowers yet, though... We found a small patch of Shibateranthis pinnatifida (Setsubun-sou) flowers beside a small creek in the garden, and we also happened to see 2 kingfishers flying over the creek. On the way back to the exit, we saw a Japanese green woodpecker, too.
神代植物公園のセツブンソウを見に出かけてきました。梅園では紅梅、白梅それぞれ数種類ずつちらほら咲き始めています。セツブンソウは、園内の小川沿いにある山野草を集めた一角にひっそりと咲いていました。セツブンソウを探していると小川沿いで２，３度、カワセミの姿を見ることができました。帰りがけには、アオゲラの姿も見ることができました。
