The Scenic Flight to Crater Lake, Oregon (August 9th)

Here are the pictures taken at the scenic flight to Crater Lake.
One of Daniel's friend is a pilot and he took us to the wonderful flight!
I realized the vastness of the nature of America.

相方の友人がパイロットだということで、クレーターレイク周辺の遊覧飛行に連れてってくれました。
山火事の影響でこの日も霞んでいましたが、「広大さ」を実感しました。

 

This is the airplane we took.

 

It was the first time for me to fly in this type of airplane.

 

こうした小型機に乗ったのは初めてだったので、

かなり緊張しました。

 

防火帯が見えます。

この辺は山火事が頻繁に起こるようで、今回、飛行機を操縦してくれた友人も

普段は山火事の空中からの消火作業などを仕事としているそうです。

 

霞んで見えにくいですが、右上に

富士山風の高い山の影が見えています。

 

I think this is Union Peak.

  

 

Here comes Crater Lake!

 

We visited the same spot 2 days before.

 

空からみたクレーターレイク。

 

Here is the Mountain Lakes Wilderness Area.

 

There are lots of lakes in this area.

大小さまざまな湖がたくさんありました。

 

It must be interesting to walk on the trail on this ridge.

この稜線上、歩いてみたいなぁ…

標高２８９４ｍ

日本人だったら、確実に「ナントカ富士」と名づけますよね。

 

どこまでも広大です。

 

ここいらで一番の豪邸らしい。
