The Hybrid

The hybrid between Viola phalacrocarpa (Akane Sumire) and Viola chaerophylloides f. sieboldiana (Higo Sumire), whose pictures I took on April 29th, has gone!
One of my violet friend visited the same spot 2 days after my visit and he found the remain of digging and noticed that the violet had gone
He also found some dried-up leaves and a flower of the hybrid.
We are so disappointed.  How could someone do such a horrible thing!

4月29日に観察した交雑種のスミレが、2日後にはなくなっていたことが分かりました。
掘られた跡があったそうです。
「きれいだから採って（盗って）帰る」…発想が愚かすぎます。
近くには干からびた葉と花もあったそうです。そこには、植物への愛情なんて微塵も感じられない。
悲しすぎます。
