We went to see some Swertia japonica (Senburi) flowers at Mt. Hinode.
We were able to see more colorful Maple trees than we expected, too.
センブリを見に、日の出山に行ってきました。
まだまだ紅葉は先だろうと思っていたのですが、カエデの類はかなり色づいていました。

It was still too early for this tree to turn yellow beautifully.
御岳のシンボルツリーのイチョウの見頃は、まだ２週間くらい先かなぁ…

御岳や奥多摩の紅葉もそろそろ本番ですね。あまり秋は行かないのですがちょっと訪れてみたくなりました。
御岳山の宿坊からの東京の夜景もステキらしいですよ。
今週は奥多摩に行ってみようと思います。
御岳山の宿坊の内の一つがユースホステルになっていて、一度、利用したことがあります。確かに、夜景、きれいでした。日の出山からの夜景もきれいですよ。夏だと遠くにあがる花火が見られたりします。
