Musashino Park and Nogawa Park (November 27th)

The reeds by the Nogawa River on the way back home from Tonogayato Garden.

Here are the pictures taken in Musashino Park and Nogawa Park on the way back home from Tonogayato Garden. We didn't know we could see so many red maple trees.
It seems we have pretty good fall color this year.

Tonogayato Garden (November 27th)

Tonogayato Garden in Kokubunji.

We went cycling to Sourousen-en Park in Koganei, Tonogayato Garden in Kokubunji and then came back home passing through Musashino Park and Nogawa Park.
In Sourousen-en Park, it was a little too early to see fall color. However, we saw nice fall color in Tonogayato Garden. Here are the pictures taken there.

天気もいいので、自転車で、小金井の滄浪泉園経由で、殿ヶ谷戸公園に出かけてきました。
滄浪泉園の紅葉はまだ早かったようですが、殿ヶ谷戸の方はきれいな紅葉が見られました。




オレンジ系のモミジが多いような気がします。

Jindai Botanical Garden (November 26th)

The maple garden in Jindai Botanical Garden.

We went to see fall color in Jindai Botanical Garden today.
Around here in Tokyo, we could see lots of colored leaves here and there.
It must be a good year for fall color this year.

神代植物公園に出かけてきました。
園内のモミジ園はきれいに色づき始めていました。
今年は、何だかいろんな所で、鮮やかな紅葉が見れるようで楽しいです。
因みに、鬼太郎茶屋の梨ソフトクリームは今期は終了したようで、完熟いちごソフトに替わっていました。

ラクウショウのレンガ色の紅葉も毎年、楽しみにしています。

Blackout (November 20th)

When we were eating supper, the power went down suddenly around 8 PM.
When we checked outside, the all neighbors are blacked out!
No signal lights, so lots of cops were taking care of the cars at the junctions.
It took 1 and a half hours to get the electricity back.

夜８時ごろ、夕食中に突然、停電に…
家の近所のかなり広いエリアで１時間半ほど、停電が続きました。
街灯もないし、信号もついてないし、真っ暗な街の様子はちょっと異様でした。
こういう停電って、初めて経験しました。
せめて、市でも東京電力でも消防でもいいから、何某かアナウンスをしてほしかったです。

Mt. Takao (November19th)

At the bottom of the mountain.

We went to Mt. Takao to see some fall colors.
It was really nice and clear day, so there were lots of people visiting Mt. Takao even on Friday.
We saw a long line of people waiting to get on the cable car.
We found quite a few of maple trees with beautiful red leaves.

高尾山…行ってきました。
天気もよくて気持ちよかったです。
麓のケーブルカー駅周辺、山頂、紅葉台では、真っ赤なモミジが楽しめました。

紅葉台もこんなに紅葉が進んでいます。




紅葉台の茶屋の所に、見事なモミジがありました。

This one was really red, so lots of people were attracted to it.

Mt. Takao will be really crowded this weekend, but we recommend you to visit it when the maples are beautiful.
今週末、きっと混むだろうと思いますが、一見の価値ありだと思います。
