Oze Trip, Part 5 (June 13th)

Here is the last part of our 2-day trip in Oze. The wetland was so huge that we could spend all day just wandering around it.

尾瀬の画像のラストです。それにしても湿原の広大さには驚かされました。今度は違う季節に（人が少ない時に）、違うコースで挑戦してみたいです。

Almost all the time, we could see Mt. Shibutsu from the wetland.
木道からは至仏山がほぼ常に見られました。

There were lots of them at the several areas in the wetland.
たくさん群生していました。ふわふわになるともっときれいなんだろうなぁ…

Andromeda polifolia (Hime Shakunage).
Most of them were still buds, but this one was blooming already.
まだほとんど蕾のものが多い中、ふっくら膨らんで咲いていました。

Quite a few of them were swimming in one of the pools. They were so cute.
池塘の中で泳いでいました。泳ぎ方が愛らしい。

「見て！」と言わんばかりに満開です。

It was our first time to see this plant.
これも初めて見ました。

There were lots of them... They looked happy.
何だか楽しそうに群生していました。

Here is the one we couldn't take picture of in the line of people the day before.
前日の朝には行列の中で、撮るに撮れなかったシラネアオイ。
今度はじっくり写真が撮れました。

木道のすぐそばに咲いていました。

A kind of Smilacina.
ユキザサの仲間だと分かるのですが、ヤマトなのかヒロハなのか…
これもきちんと見たことがないので、自分では同定できないです。

We arrived there around 10:55 and had lunch at a restaurant.
Much less people than yesterday morning.
かなり早めに鳩待峠に到着。昨日の朝と比べて、人が少ないです。
ここで昼食をとり、バスの時間までゆっくりと休息しました。

Oze Trip, Part 4 (June 13th)

Mt. Hiuchigatake around 4:10 in the morning.
燧ケ岳。朝4:10頃。淡いけどきれいな色合いでした。

I got up around 4:00 in the morning and then I saw the sky was getting pinkish, so I left the tent quickly and ran to the place where I could see the wetland. The place was covered with mysterious fog. After taking pictures of the interesting scenery with fog, I went back to the tent and we had breakfast. We left the camping lot around 6:20 and headed back to the Hatomachi Touge. Here is the course we took on the second day of our Oze Trip...

Day 2:
Miharashi Camping Lot (6:20) - The junction of the trails to Onsen Goya and Touden Goya (6:45) - (7:15) Touden Goya (7:28) - Yoppi Bridge (7:55) - Ushikubi Junction (9:00) - Yama-no-hana (9:40) - Hatomachi Touge (10:55) and lunch and rest - bus (14:40) - Shinjuku (20:20) - home (21:30).

朝4時過ぎに周りの起きだした人につられて目覚めて、外を見ると薄っすら空が色づいていたので、あわてて外に出て、湿原の方へ走り出したら、そこには霧に包まれた幻想的な風景がありました。きれいな朝焼けは見れませんでしたが、不思議な風景を楽しむことが出来ました。
天場に戻って、朝食を済ませて、6:20ごろ出発しました。鳩待峠14:30発のバスなので余裕があるのですが、混みだす時間を外してゆっくり見て回りたかったので、ちょっと早めに出ました。

The yellow carpet of Caltha palustris var. nipponica (Ryuukinka) flowers looked different from yesterday.
リュウキンカの絨毯も昨日とはちょっと違った印象…

朝露に濡れたオオバタチツボスミレ。光りに透けた模様がきれいです。

ピークはとうに過ぎていますが、尾瀬に来たんだから、ミズバショウも撮っておかないと…

只見川。ここからしばし新潟入りです。

こんな感じの蕾もちらほら…咲くのはもう少し先…

朝露に濡れて咲いていました。ニョイスミレも点々と咲いています。

またまた発見。小さいけど色合いがきれいです。

今日も一つだけ見つけました。ピンク色のタテヤマリンドウ。
写真を撮っていても、多くの人は通り過ぎていってしまいます。

Oze Trip, Part 3 (June 12th)

Oxalis acetosella (Ko-miyama-katabami).
There were lots of them in the forest on the way to the Sanjou waterfall.
三条の滝に向かう途中の森の中にたくさん咲いていました。

Here is the last bunch of the pictures taken on the Day 1 of our Oze Trip.
尾瀬初日に撮った写真のラストです。三条の滝へ向かう森の中で見つけた花たちです。

We found lots of them in the forest on the way to the Sanjou Waterfall.
林床にたくさんありました。

ありました。トガクシショウマ。
今回はこれが一番、見たかったのです。

何とも個性的な植物…淡い紫が清楚です。
個性派が多いメギ科の植物。

Amazingly bright pink flower!
草津の白根山で初めて見て、その色鮮やかさに驚いたムラサキヤシオ。
尾瀬でもピークは過ぎたもののまだ咲いているものもありました。

こんな沢の近くにトガクシショウマ、群生していました。

Most of them were finishing, but we could find a few of them blooming.
さすがにもう咲いていたのは2，3輪しか見つけられませんでした。

可愛らしい桃色です。


Ranzania japonica (Togakushi Shouma).
想像以上に群生していました。


Epigaea asiatica (Iwa Nashi).
The English name of the close kind of this plant growing in America is "mayflower", which is related to the famous ship of the Pilgrim Fathers, the Mayflower.
こちらはまだ花をつけていました。アメリカにもこの仲間があるそうで、英語名をメイフラワーと言うのだそう…世界史で習う、イギリスからアメリカに入植してきたピルグリム・ファーザーズが乗ってた船の名前、メイフラワー号に関係しているのだとか。そんな訳で、マサチューセッツ州の州花になっているらしい。

オオバクロモジ…地味めですが好きな花です。

ここにもありました。

三条の滝。思いのほか立派な滝で、迫力満点でした。

ものすごい水量です。


Chamaepericlymenum canadense (Gozen Tachibana).
It usually has a white flower, but this one has green one.
緑色なゴゼンタチバナを見つけました。葉っぱは結構見つけましたが、咲いているのはまだ少しだけ。

今回、よく見かけました。可愛らしい花で、見つける度に写真を撮ってました。

この花も、個性はぞろいの「メギ科」なんですね。

沢沿いで咲いていました。

シラネアオイと同じ沢沿いで、群生していました。

葉っぱ3枚に囲まれて花がちょこんと、というスタイルでたたずんでいます。

トリミングしました。自分のデジカメではこれが限界。
滝を見てからキャンプ場に戻る途中で見つけました。
