Hikage, Ogesawa & Uratakao (March 22nd)
Chrysosplenium album var. stamineum (Hana Nekonome) at Hikage.
We went to see if any violets were blooming in the Uratakao area.
It was a little too early for the violets at the Hikage area. After that, we went to the Ogesawa area. Omphalodes japonica (Yama-ruri-sou) was already blooming, and we found some Viola yezoensis f. discolor (Takao Sumire) plants but it seemed to take a few more weeks to bloom. From there we walked back to Takao Sta. You could enjoy seeing some spring flowers.
