Inokashira Park (December 4th)


It is the best time to see the fall colors here in Tokyo now.

Today I went to Inokashira Park. I didn't know there are so many maple trees there. I walked around the park for about 30 minutes or so, but I really enjoyed the beautiful colors of the maple trees through the sunlight.

今日は、病院に行ったついでに、吉祥寺で本を探そうとバスで移動。井の頭公園を通るとき、車窓から見た紅葉があまりにもきれいだったので、ぶらりと歩いてきました。紅葉の時期に井の頭公園を歩いた記憶がなかったので、こんなにたくさん、立派なカエデの木があるとは知りませんでした。冬のやわらかい日差し越しにみる紅葉は、いつまで見ていても飽きない美しさでした。

長く伸びた木々の影。冬のやわらかな陽光が気持ちよかったです。




It was just amazing to see the colors in such a perfect lighting, which is of course 100 % natural.












木漏れ陽が自然なスポットライトを演出してくれてます。


穴があいた葉っぱも、味わいがあって素敵です。

It's looks like here in France. No much frost till today so the leaves are not all falling down as usual at this time of the year.
Are these trees Acer palmatum ?

That's right.
Most of these maple trees are Acer palmatum (Iroha Momiji). The Ghibli Museum (about the animations made by Hayao Miyazaki) is located right beside this park...I have never entered it, though...
