Mt. Hakkouda (August 4th) 《Summer Trip Day 3》
Betula ermanii (Dakekanba) on the way to Sennin-tai(仙人岱).
On Day 3 of our trip we hiked the Mt. Hakkouda area.
We left the hot spring around 6:30 and got to the top of Mt. Ootake, the highest peak of Mt. Hakkouda around 10:15 and had early lunch there. From there we walked down back to the hot spring via some nice marshy area of Kenashi-tai (毛無岱). We enjoyed the hot spring once again before we left for Aomori Sta. by bus at 16:58. We took the express train "Hamanasu" from there to Sapporo. We left Aomori at 22:42 and arrived at Sapporo at 6:07 next morning.
