Kinchakuda, Hidaka (September 26th)

Lycoris radiata (Manjushage, Higanbana).

We went to see some Lycoris radiata (Manjushage, Higanbana) flowers in the Kinchakuda area in Hidaka city, Saitama.
There were lots of people visiting to see the flowers. The field was covered with lots of red flowers. It was really amazing!

This hot spring is found and owned by a ham & sausage maker.

Nogawa Park (September 25th)

Geranium thunbergii (Gen-no-shouko).

We went to Nogawa Park in our neighborhood to see some Lycoris radiata (Higanbana) flowers.
They were blooming nicely... We will go to see the same kind of flower in the Kinchakuda area, Saitama, tomorrow.

Impatiens textorii (Tsurifune-sou).

Lycoris radiata (Higanbana).
There was nothing when we came 2 weeks ago.
It is so amazing how they can grow and bloom so quickly!

Persicaria conspicua (Sakura Tade).
One of my favorite autumn flowers.

Caryopteris divaricata (Karigane-sou).

Bush clover (Hagi).

Diospyros lotus (Mame-gaki).

Hestina assimilis (Akaboshigomadara).
I happened to find this on the bicycle tire... It looked pretty, but when I searched about this on the Internet, I found that this is an alien creature.

Jindaiji Area (September 12th)

Cymbidium nipponicum (Maya-ran).

We went to Jindai Botanical Garden to see if any Cymbidium nipponicum (Maya-ran) flowers were blooming.
We found a couple of them blooming.
We had the pear ice cream at Kitarou-jaya in front of the Jindaiji temple as usual.
It tasted so nice!

Mt. Kumotori (September 3rd - 5th)

The sunrise at Mt. Kumotori. It was around 5 AM... It was really beautiful a little bit earlier than the sunrise.

Here are more pictures taken on the hike at Mt. Kumotori.
We enjoyed nice view of Mt. Fuji.

Tricyrtis affinis (Yamaji-no-Hototogisu).

Scrophularia duplicato-serrata (Hina-no-usutsubo).

The cold and fresh water near the Nanatsuishi Hut.
Not much water was running this year...It must have been less rain this year.

Saussurea tripetera (Yahazu Higotai)?

Halenia corniculata (Hana-Ikari).
"Ikari" means "Anchor".

The Scorpio was shining in the sky... Can you see it?

You are supposed to be seeing the Big Dipper.
